Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and Exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our guesthouse, available rooms, rates and Amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Supervise housekeeping department
- Passion for cooking: preparation of upmarket breakfast and other meals, will be an added advantage.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Front Desk Officer
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
- A qualification in Graphic design and cooking course will be an added advantage.
