Responsibilities

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and Exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our guesthouse, available rooms, rates and Amenities
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Supervise housekeeping department
  • Passion for cooking: preparation of upmarket breakfast and other meals, will be an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Front Desk Officer
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
  • A qualification in Graphic design and cooking course will be an added advantage.
